He has retired after 40 years of distinguished service with IAF. He has flown transport aircraft and has also handled other administrative assignments.
Sh. Diljit Rai
3604/ 23-D Chandigarh.

He retired from the post of Under Secretary after 39 years of distinguished service with Punjab Government. He is deeply involved in social work and NGOs like Sewa Bharti & Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Lt. Col. (Retd.) Karam Singh

He did his Post Graduation in Physics in 1955 from Punjab University and was commissioned into the Corp of Signals in 1956. He worked extensively in the field of Electronic Data Processing and after his retirement in 1982 he worked with ECIL, Hyderabad and Punwire. He takes keen interest in social welfare activities and is a member of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Free Polytechnic Trust. He is also the Organizing Secretary of Chandigarh Senior Citizens’ Association.

A retired Government employee, Sh. Sidhu is an active political worker and has remained the Vice President of the Trade Union Congress for 11 years.

He retired from the Indian Air Force after 29 years of distinguished service. Currently works as a commercial pilot with aviation companies and is interested in reading and photography.

He retired from the Indian Air Force from the post of Chief Draftsman after 42 years of dedicated service. A strong nationalist, Sh. Bhatia is an active participant of the Traffic Marshal programme.

He passed M.A. Political Science in the year 1963,afterwards jooned Indian Military Academy, Dehradun on 25.8.1963 and got commission as 2/Liet in the Regiment of Artillery during the Emergency. After release from the Army as Captain, he joined General Central Services Class I on 23.7.1970 and retired on 31.8.1997 from Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines, Govt. of India as Deputy Director General (Personnel) (Senior Administrative Grade) after a distinguished and meritorious service of 33 years.

After retirement he settled at Chandigarh and took active part in the social organisations like Indian Red Cross Society, U.T. Chandigarh and Lions Club, Mohali. He has been working as a Traffic Marshall with the Chandigarh Traffic Police since November 2004.
