In supersession of the Chandigarh Administration, Home Department Notifications bearing No. 2/3/57-HII (I)-2007/8933 dated 9th May, 2007 and in exercise of the Powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 200 of the MV Act, 88 (Central Act No.59 of 1988) and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh is pleased to specify the authorities mentioned under column 5 of the schedule below to compound the offences mentioned under column 2 thereof either before or after the institution of the prosecution, for the amount mentioned under columns 3 and 4 of the said schedule :-
